DAYTON, Ohio – September 16, 2026 – Alluring Glass has introduced an expanded collection of modern glass railing designs for high-end residences throughout the Greater Dayton metro, giving homeowners a code-compliant guardrail that keeps sightlines open across staircases, balconies and decks.
The expanded offering covers three configurations. Post-mounted systems use vertical posts and clamps to carry the panels in a structured, high-support layout. Base-mounted systems set the glass into a channel along the floor or deck edge for a cleaner look with less visible hardware. Standoff mounts hold each panel slightly off the structure so the run appears to float. Homeowners can schedule glass railing installation Dayton consultations from the company’s Tipp City location.
Every system is built to Ohio building code for guardrails, which requires tempered safety glass. Laminated glass is available when a homeowner wants a panel that holds together after an impact, and all hardware is weather-rated stainless steel, specified because Ohio freeze-thaw cycles stress lower-grade fittings. Panel thickness is matched to the height and span of each run, and code compliance is confirmed during the on-site measurement visit before any material is ordered.
“A railing has to do two jobs at once. It has to keep people safe, and it has to disappear,” said Ryan Dunlap of Alluring Glass. “On the homes we work on in Oakwood, Kettering and Beavercreek, the architecture is the point. Our job is to hold the code line without putting a row of pickets in front of it.”
Demand has been strongest in staircase and interior balcony work, where frameless glass railings replace spindles in open-plan great rooms and entryways. The same systems are used outdoors on elevated decks and terraces, where hardware finishes are selected to match existing exterior details.
Projects follow a fixed-price process: design consultation, a written estimate with no variable line items, an on-site measurement, and white-glove installation typically completed in fewer than 10 business days from quote approval. Service extends to Oakwood, Kettering, Centerville, Beavercreek, Huber Heights, Vandalia, Tipp City, Englewood, Riverside and Clayton.
Alluring Glass Dayton was recognized earlier this year for its frameless shower door installations across Montgomery and Greene counties.
