Joseph Merritt & Company Announces Sale of Equipment & Supply Division to Merritt Equipment Solutions

ROCKY HILL, CT, UNITED STATES, September 15, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Joseph Merritt & Company, a long-standing provider of printing, scanning, and document management services, today announced the sale of its Equipment and Supply Division to Merritt Equipment Solutions, a newly established company owned and operated by longtime Joseph Merritt & Company employee Oliver Paine.

The transaction officially closed on September 4, 2026.

The sale reflects Joseph Merritt & Company’s strategic decision to focus its resources and expertise on its core printing, scanning, and document services operations, while giving the Equipment and Supply Division the opportunity to continue under experienced leadership.

Paine has been a longtime member of the Joseph Merritt & Company team and has worked closely with the Equipment and Supply Division. His experience with the business, its customers, products, and operations provides a strong foundation for the continued success of Merritt Equipment Solutions. In addition, Oliver has retained the technicians as part of this transaction.
