Daniela Moroz
“This level of investment, from an institution like Pacific Life, directly to athletes, is unprecedented in the sailing space. It will make a massive impact as we prepare for LA28, and beyond,” remarked Charlie Enright, Chief Executive Officer of US Sailing. “By choosing to invest in all the athletes, Pacific Life is setting the organization up for a very vibrant future. We couldn’t ask for a better partner, and we can’t thank them enough for their generous, additional support!”
$1 Million Commitment to Athlete Support
Pacific Life will invest $1 million in US Sailing through the Pacific Life Athlete Support Fund, directed toward supporting athletes as they train and compete. The investment recognizes the significant preparation and commitment required to compete at the highest levels of sailing and offsets athlete expenses for training, equipment, coaching, and more as they pursue their journey to the global stage in 2028.
Providing Protection Beyond the Water
Pacific Life will offer all actively competing members of the US Sailing Team 10-year Promise Term life insurance coverage. For eligible athletes, the offering creates a meaningful new connection with Pacific Life as customers, helping provide financial security for them and their families. With the demands of training schedules, travel, competition, and family responsibilities, life insurance can provide an important foundation of protection. For members of the US Sailing Team, sailing is often a family tradition passed from one generation to the next. That generational connection represents the power of a promise, to help policyholders protect the people they love the most and reflects Pacific Life’s purpose of providing Confidence for Generations.
